Classicfabs Driving Change in Emissions

As a group of Classic Car enthusiasts including owners, restoration companies, parts manufacturers, and all others in the industry who have a passion for Classic Cars, we must recognise that all around us the public have concerns for pollution in general and more so the pollution that combustion engine vehicles potentially cause to their health and the environment through Co2 and other Toxic emissions.

An example of what these Catalytic Converters achieve in emissions reductions is that in current U.K. Low Emissions Zones the requirement is that for vehicles to be compliant they must meet at least Euro four emissions standards.

The Classicfabs Catalytic Converters meet Euro Five standards, and we also have an option of increasing that to meet Euro six.

Customer Comments

Started the car, 1200 rpm on full choke, settled down to 700rpm no choke. Run for about 5 minutes.
I have observed no untoward smells accumulating in the garage during this period. Or visible clouds of fumes.
There will obviously be some light smell that one will get with any combustion.
I did take a video on the camera at start and finish..... shows nothing from exhaust or build-up of fumes.

Having done over 10K miles since fitting complete Classicfabs system with twin Catalytic Converters and still showing an almost complete lack of smell and fumes.
Slight fumes at start but once warmed up then no issues with fumes or smell.

We fitted a customer’s series 3 E-Type V12 car with a set of Classicfabs silencers fitted with internal Catalytic Converters and could not believe the reduction in fumes and smell from previous standard system.
We also fitted a 1991 CSK Range Rover with a new exhaust set up with twin Catalytic Converters and had the same results
